I’m 34, Chinese Filipina. I grew up in the Philippines and lived there nearly all my life. I spent my twenties studying and working in Metro Manila. I grew up in a large family and that influenced my upbringing and values in life.
In 2016, I met my Australian husband through work. We married in 2019 and, in 2021, moved to Melbourne to settle down here. We’re happily starting a family soon.
For my educational and professional background, I graduated with honours from the University of the Philippines, with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
I was a pretty good student, writer, and tutor even then, so I suppose it was sweet serendipity when the technical writing field found me. My first job was in 2012, as a technical writer in what was then Nokia Siemens Networks. I’m still passionate about content writing, knowledge management, and teaching other people the few things I know.
